Responsible Gaming at vippph
Your well-being matters. We're committed to promoting safe, responsible gaming and providing tools to help you stay in control.
21+ Only — Legal Age Requirement
You must be at least 21 years old to register and play at vippph. Online gambling is strictly prohibited for persons under the age of 21 in the Philippines. vippph is committed to preventing underage gambling and will immediately suspend any account found to belong to a minor. Age verification is required before your first withdrawal.
If you are under 21, please leave this site immediately. Parents and guardians can use parental control software to restrict access to gambling sites.
Our Commitment to Responsible Gaming
At vippph, we believe that online gaming should be an enjoyable form of entertainment, not a source of financial hardship or personal distress. While the vast majority of our members play responsibly and within their means, we recognize that some individuals may develop problematic gambling behaviors that negatively impact their lives and the lives of their loved ones.
As a PAGCOR-licensed online gaming operator, vippph is committed to promoting responsible gaming practices and providing support to players who may be experiencing gambling-related difficulties. We implement industry-leading responsible gaming tools, train our customer support team to recognize warning signs of problem gambling, and work closely with PAGCOR and Philippine mental health organizations to ensure our members have access to the resources they need.
Responsible gaming means understanding the risks associated with gambling, setting personal limits before you play, recognizing when gambling is no longer fun, and knowing where to seek help if you need it. This page provides information about the responsible gaming tools available at vippph, warning signs of problem gambling, and resources for getting help.
Gambling Should Be Entertainment
Online casino games, sports betting, and other forms of gambling offered by vippph are designed to be entertaining and exciting. However, it's important to remember that gambling always involves risk, and the house always has a mathematical edge over the long run. This means that most players will lose money over time.
Gambling should never be viewed as a way to make money, pay bills, or solve financial problems. If you find yourself gambling to recoup losses, borrowing money to gamble, or neglecting important responsibilities because of gambling, these are warning signs that your gambling may be becoming problematic.
Guidelines for Responsible Gaming
Before you play at vippph, consider these responsible gaming guidelines:
- Set a budget: Decide in advance how much money you can afford to lose, and stick to that amount. Never gamble with money you need for rent, bills, food, or other essential expenses.
- Set time limits: Decide how much time you want to spend gambling each session, and stop when your time is up. Use our reality check feature to remind yourself how long you've been playing.
- Never chase losses: If you're having a losing session, accept it and walk away. Trying to win back your losses by betting more usually leads to bigger losses.
- Take breaks: Regular breaks help you maintain perspective and avoid making impulsive decisions. Step away from the screen, stretch, and do something else for a while.
- Don't gamble when you're upset: Gambling under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or strong emotions (anger, sadness, stress) impairs your judgment and can lead to reckless betting.
- Balance gambling with other activities: Gambling should be just one of many leisure activities you enjoy, not your primary source of entertainment or social connection.
- Keep it fun: If gambling stops being fun and starts feeling like a compulsion or a way to escape problems, it's time to take a break and reassess your relationship with gambling.
Responsible Gaming Tools at vippph
vippph provides several tools to help you manage your gambling activity and stay in control. These tools are available in your account settings and can be adjusted at any time.
1. Deposit Limits
Deposit limits allow you to set a maximum amount of money you can deposit into your vippph account over a specific time period (daily, weekly, or monthly). Once you reach your deposit limit, you will not be able to make additional deposits until the time period resets.
How to set a deposit limit: Log in to your vippph account, go to Account Settings > Responsible Gaming > Deposit Limits. Choose your time period (daily, weekly, or monthly) and enter your desired limit amount. Your limit will take effect immediately. If you wish to increase your limit, the increase will be delayed by 7 days to prevent impulsive decisions. Decreases take effect immediately.
2. Loss Limits
Loss limits allow you to set a maximum amount of net losses (deposits minus withdrawals) you can incur over a specific time period. This helps prevent you from losing more than you can afford during winning and losing streaks.
3. Session Time Reminders (Reality Checks)
Reality checks are automatic pop-up reminders that appear at regular intervals (every 30 minutes by default) to inform you how long you've been playing and your current net wins or losses for the session. These reminders help you maintain awareness of your gambling activity and encourage you to take breaks.
You can adjust the frequency of reality checks or disable them in your account settings, though we strongly recommend keeping them enabled.
4. Self-Exclusion
Self-exclusion is a powerful tool that allows you to temporarily or permanently block yourself from accessing your vippph account. During a self-exclusion period, you will not be able to log in, deposit funds, or place bets. This gives you time to step back from gambling and seek help if needed.
Self-exclusion periods available at vippph:
- 24 hours: A short cooling-off period for when you need a brief break.
- 7 days: A one-week break to reassess your gambling habits.
- 30 days: A one-month break for more serious concerns.
- 6 months: A longer-term exclusion for persistent problems.
- Permanent (indefinite): A permanent exclusion from vippph with no option to reactivate your account.
Important: Once you activate self-exclusion, it cannot be reversed until the chosen period expires. During self-exclusion, you will not receive any marketing communications from vippph. If you chose permanent self-exclusion, your account will remain closed indefinitely, and you will not be permitted to open a new account with vippph.
How to self-exclude: Log in to your vippph account, go to Account Settings > Responsible Gaming > Self-Exclusion. Select your desired exclusion period and confirm. Your account will be immediately locked. For assistance, contact customer support.
5. Account Closure
If you wish to permanently close your vippph account for reasons other than problem gambling, you can do so by contacting customer support. Any remaining balance will be refunded to you. Please note that account closure is different from self-exclusion and is typically used by players who simply no longer wish to use the service, not those experiencing gambling problems (for whom self-exclusion is more appropriate).
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
Problem gambling, also known as gambling disorder or compulsive gambling, is a behavioral addiction characterized by an inability to control gambling behavior despite negative consequences. It affects people of all ages, backgrounds, and income levels.
Ask yourself the following questions. If you answer "yes" to several of these, you may be experiencing problem gambling:
- Do you gamble to escape problems, anxiety, or depression?
- Do you lie to family or friends about how much you gamble or how much you've lost?
- Have you borrowed money, sold possessions, or engaged in illegal activities to fund your gambling?
- Do you feel the need to gamble with increasing amounts of money to achieve the same level of excitement?
- Have you tried to cut back or stop gambling but found yourself unable to do so?
- Do you feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you try to reduce your gambling?
- Have you jeopardized or lost important relationships, jobs, or educational opportunities because of gambling?
- Do you gamble to win back money you've lost (chasing losses)?
- Do you rely on others to bail you out of financial problems caused by gambling?
- Do you neglect family, work, or personal responsibilities to spend more time gambling?
- Has gambling caused you financial hardship, debt, or bankruptcy?
- Do you gamble until you've spent all your money, even money needed for bills and essentials?
If you recognize these patterns in yourself or a loved one, it's important to seek help. Problem gambling is a treatable condition, and recovery is possible with the right support.

Tips for Parents and Guardians
Protecting minors from exposure to online gambling is a shared responsibility. vippph strictly prohibits anyone under the age of 21 from registering or playing on our platform, but parents and guardians can take additional steps to protect young people in their care:
- Use parental control software: Install filtering software like Net Nanny, Qustodio, or Norton Family to block access to gambling websites on devices used by minors.
- Monitor online activity: Regularly check the browsing history and app usage on devices used by children and teenagers.
- Educate about gambling risks: Talk to young people about the risks of gambling and the importance of responsible decision-making.
- Keep payment information secure: Never share credit card, e-wallet, or banking credentials with minors. Store payment cards and devices securely.
- Lead by example: Model responsible gambling behavior if you choose to gamble, and avoid normalizing gambling as a primary form of entertainment for young people.
If you discover that a minor has accessed vippph or any other online gambling site, contact us immediately at [email protected] so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
